Increases the chance of planting Carrots. When a type of crop is harvested for the first time, the player will receive a farm hat. Special Farming Hats may be found that may be equipped onto Sidekicks to increase their chance of planting specific crops.Īfter planting crops for the first time, leave this area of the Toy Box, then return later to harvest the crops. The first plot is free, but the other plots may be purchased for 5000 sparks. Keep some in reserve though as the sidekicks get hungry over time and must be fed to keep them fighting alongside your Figures. The crops that are harvested go into the Sidekick inventory, under "food", and can be fed to the Sidekicks to increase various stats. The Farming Hoe can be equipped onto an unlimited number of Sidekicks (as long as they have the required Tools stat), so set more of them to work to get the crops growing faster. It is the player's (figure's) job to harvest the crops, destroy the weeds, and pick the flowers, by attacking all of them. The sidekick will begin to plant seeds, which will grow into either weeds, flowers, or a variety of crops within a short period.
After Woody offers up a Farming Hoe, head over to the Sidekick outfitter to equip it on a sidekick, and drop them into the toy box.įollow Woody over to the empty farming plot, listen to the tutorial, then approach the sidekick and select "work plot". The first time a player enters Plotting for Plants, they must speak to Woody (the Sidekick Host) to get set up for farming. Once the Sidekick Portal is unlocked, the player must play through the Sidekick Square One Toy Box/Tutorial in order to unlock Potting for Plants. To access Plotting for Plants, the player must first unlock the Sidekick Portal by speaking to the Sidekick Host (Woody) in the Toy Box Hub, and completing a task for him so that he will unlock the Sidekick Portal. The player must also destroy the weeds that pop up. The player's character (figure) can then harvest the food that grows, which can then be fed to the player's Sidekicks to increase their stats and satisfy their hunger. In this Toy Box, Sidekicks will plant various seeds.
